The Medium-sized Aperture Camera (MAC) is an electro-optical payload for RazakSAT^®. MAC is a pushbroom camera with five linear detectors, and can be resized according to requirements.

The current MAC configuration in RazakSAT^® produces high resolution images in one panchromatic (PAN) band and four multi-spectral (MS) bands. The MAC offers extensive applications such as agriculture, environmental, exploration, forestry, mapping, transportation, utilities, management and civil government uses. At an altitude of 685km, it has a ground sampling distance of 2.5m (PAN) and 5m (MS).
