Satellite Systems Design and Manufacture

ATSB has been involved in major satellite programmes development in Malaysia such as TiungSAT-1 which has been successfully launched in the year 2000. ATSB has be capability and capacity to develop and acquire space technology to design and manufacture satellite for various applications. On 14 July 2009, ATSB has set another milestone with the launch of RazakSAT as the world 1st remote sensing satellite launched into the Near Equatorial Orbit (NEqO) capable of high resolution Earth Observation (EO) imaging.

The design and manufacturing process of this satellite follows the exacting and rigorous established standards of spacecraft engineering. Using these standards, the RazakSAT has passed through the phases of Engineering, Qualification and Flight Models development.

Satellite Platforms

ATSB^® supplies spacecraft platforms either customized or utilizing platforms suitable for various purposes including educational and national level programmes.

ATS-1

ATS-1 Platform (125gsm) - FemtoSAT platform allows the nurture as elementary level in understanding about space and satellite exploration innovation teaching through miniature educational platform.

ATS-10

ATS-10 Platform (10kg) – Using our InnoSAT platform through joint collaboration with several universities set an ideal example for educational and small satellite payloads.

ATS-100

ATS-100 Platform (100kg) – With TiungSAT-1 satellite launched, this platform ideal for countries that are just embarking on a satellite programme.

ATS-500

ATS-500 Platform (500kg) – Setting RazakSAT® as benchmark, it is perfect for complex EO missions as a second generation Earth observation satellite.
