PETALING JAYA: RazakSAT, Malaysia’s second remote sensing satellite, will be launched tomorrow.
It was scheduled to launch from Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands in April but was delayed due to vibration problem on the launch vehicle.
Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Maximus Ongkili arrived in Guam yesterday to witness the live web casting of the launch of the satellite.

KUALA LUMPUR: Inovatif kebanggaan Malaysia, satelit RazakSAT, sudah bersiap sedia untuk dilancarkan mengikut jadual, Selasa ini dari Kwajalein Atoll di Republik Marshall Islands.
Menteri Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi, Datuk Dr Maximus Ongkili; Timbalan Ketua Setiausaha (Dasar) kementerian, Datuk Dr Sharifah Zarah Syed Ahmad dan pegawai kanan kementerian itu tiba di Guam, semalam untuk menyaksikan pelancaran bersejarah satelit itu menerusi siaran langsung yang disiarkan laman web.

KUALA LUMPUR 12 Julai - Satelit kedua negara, RazakSAT akan dilancarkan Selasa ini selepas syarikat pengendali pelancarannya berjaya membaiki kerosakan sistem antigegaran pada pelancar dan roket tersebut.
Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi dalam satu kenyataan hari ini memberitahu segala persiapan untuk pelancaran telah diatur dan satelit penderiaan negara itu akan dilancar dari Kwajalein Atoll, Republik Kepulauan Marshall seperti dijadualkan.
