PETALING JAYA: Malaysia launched the RazakSAT, its second remote sensing satellite at Kwajalein Atoll, in the Marshall Islands at 11.35am yesterday.
The 180kg satellite became the first of its kind in the world to enter the Near Equatorial Orbit (NEqO) directly 20 minutes after its launch.

HAWTHORNE, California: Rocket developer Space Exploration Technologies said Tuesday it conducted its second fully successful launch, placing a Malaysian satellite into orbit.
The company's two-stage Falcon 1 rocket lifted off late Monday PDT from Omelek Island in the Kwajalein Atoll, 2,500 miles (4,000 kilometers) southwest of Hawaii in the central Pacific.

KUALA LUMPUR: RazakSAT, satelit remote sensing kedua Malaysia, berjaya dilancar ke angkasa pada jam 11.35 pagi waktu Malaysia dari Kwajalein Atoll di Kepulanan Marshall di Lautan Pasifik.
