NAM Institute For The Empowerment of Women (NIEW), a training institution under by the Ministry of Women’s, Family and Community Development paid a visit to ATSB^® on 11 August 2009 to learn more about satellite development especially RazakSAT^® and women involvement as an integral part to bridge the gender digital divide in the space and technology related industry. A total of 28 delegates from 16 countries including Iran, Timor Leste, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Myanmar, Thailand and many more were pleased with the warm hospitality given and appreciate the support given by the government of Malaysia to harness the science, technology and space industry which many thought that it may seem impossible to do and proven that “Malaysia Boleh” spirit has liven to its expectation.
