YB Datuk Seri Minister visited ATSB® office

SHAH ALAM (February 8, 2011): Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Y.B. Datuk Seri Dr. Maximus Ongkili and his deputy Y.B. Datuk Fadillah Yusof were a working visit to Astronautic Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. (ATSB®)

Also present were MOSTI senior officers and ATSB® board members, ATSB® CEO Chief Executive Officer, Y. Bhg. Dato' Dr. Ahmad Sabirin Arshad.

The Minister was briefed on the national space strategic plan by the Director General of National Space Agency, Dr Mustafa Din Subari, followed by a technical briefing on the proposed development program RazakSAT 2 by Y. Bhg. Dato' Dr. Ahmad Sabirin Arshad.

The Minister also held a dialogue with the ATSB® and senior officials MOSTI of improvement proposals and implementation of national programs related to space technology.

Datuk Seri Dr. Maximus and his entourage also visited the ATSB® laboratories to see research projects and ScienceFund TechnoFund fully funded by MOSTI.

He was satisfied with the expanding of the projects and gave words of encouragement to the engineers and scientists in ATSB® to continue improving their skills and achievements in the field of space technology.
