ATSB® has been involved in major satellite programmes development in Malaysia such as TiungSAT-1 which has been successfully launched in the year 2000. It shows that local technology company too has the necessary capability and expertise to develop and acquire space technology to design and manufacture satellite for various applications. On 14 July 2009, ATSB® has set another milestone with the launch of RazakSAT® as the world 1st remote sensing satellite launched into the Near Equatorial Orbit (NEqO). The design and manufacturing process of this satellite follows the exacting and rigorous established standards of spacecraft engineering.
ATSB® offers complete solutions to design, manufacture and launch EO satellites up to 500kg in mass and currently developed communications satellite of up to 2-ton mass.
