RazakSAT is a Malaysian Earth observation satellite carrying a high-resolution camera. It was launched into low Earth orbit by a Falcon 1 rocket on 14 July 2009.

TiungSAT-1 is the first Malaysian microsatellite. The satellite is developed through the technology transfer and training programme between ATSB, Malaysia and Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd., United Kingdom

The availability of powerful CCD Cameras and automated telescopes has revolutionize Observational astronomy because of the technology's precise, practical, economic and efficient operation.

The Early Warning System is a tsunami early warning system that is responsible for the national tsunami prediction and the warning of coastal residents in the vulnerable regions of Malaysia.

Wind and Runway Visual Range System (WRVR) is installed at 16 airports throughout Peninsular and East Malaysia. The system consists of one set of wind and Visibility sensors, and will be installed at the ends of the runway.

Flight planning activities accounted for pre-flight preparation, identifying and site preparation for take-off and landing of UAV. The mission planner will setup in the autopilot software the flight plan by placing GPS waypoints either on a map or by manual coordinates.

Astronautic Technology (M) Sdn Bhd (ATSB) announces the successful launch of Falcon 1 Flight 5 launch vehicle and the precision placement of Malaysia's RazakSAT into Earth orbit.

“This marks another successful launch by the ATSB,” said Dato' Sabirin Arshad, CEO of ATSB. “We are pleased to announce that Malaysia's RazakSAT, aboard Falcon 1, has achieved the intended orbit.”

Falcon 1, a two-stage, liquid oxygen/rocket-grade kerosene vehicle designed and manufactured by SpaceX, lifted off Monday, July 13, at 8:35 pm (PDT). Lift off occurred from the Reagan Test Site (RTS) on Omelek Island at the U.S. Army Kwajalein Atoll (USAKA) in the Pacific Ocean, approximately 2,500 miles southwest of Hawaii.

RazakSAT was designed and built by Astronautic Technology (M) Sdn Bhd (ATSB), a pioneer and leader in the design and manufacture of satellites in Malaysia.
