RazakSAT is a Malaysian Earth observation satellite carrying a high-resolution camera. It was launched into low Earth orbit by a Falcon 1 rocket on 14 July 2009.

TiungSAT-1 is the first Malaysian microsatellite. The satellite is developed through the technology transfer and training programme between ATSB (Malaysia) and Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd. (United Kingdom)

Powerful CCD Cameras and automated telescopes has revolutionize observational astronomy due to the technology's precise, practical and cost efficient operation.

The Early Warning System is a tsunami early warning system that is responsible for the national tsunami prediction and the warning of coastal residents in the vulnerable regions of Malaysia.

The Wind and Runway Visual Range System (WRVR) is installed at 16 airports throughout Peninsular and East Malaysia. The system consists of a set of wind and visibility sensors and is installed at the ends of the runway.

UAV flight plan activities include UAV pre-flight preparation, site identification and site preparation for launching and landing of UAV. The mission planner will then setup the flight plan by placing GPS waypoints either on a map or by manual coordinates in the autopilot software.

The RazakSAT satellite was designed and built by Astronautic Technology (M) Sdn Bhd (ATSB), a pioneer and leader in the design and manufacture of satellites in Malaysia.

It was successfully launched by SpaceX on a Falcon 1 Flight 5 launch vehicle and then precisely placed  Malaysia's RazakSAT into Earth's Near Equatorial Orbit.

Falcon 1 is a two-stage, liquid oxygen/rocket-grade kerosene vehicle designed and manufactured by SpaceX, lifted off Monday, July 13th 2009 at 8:35 pm (PDT). Lift off occurred from the Reagan Test Site (RTS) on Omelek Island at the U.S. Army Kwajalein Atoll (USAKA) in the Pacific Ocean, approximately 2,500 miles southwest of Hawaii.

“This marks another successful launch by ATSB,” said Dato' Dr. Ahmad Sabirin Arshad, CEO of ATSB. “We are pleased to announce that Malaysia's RazakSAT, aboard Falcon 1, has achieved its intended orbit.”
